Our Story:
The Foundation for Allied Dental Education (FADE)
In 2010, the Foundation for Allied Dental Education (FADE) was established as a privately-funded, non-profit organization by the Klein family whose original mission and purpose was to work toward providing collaborative support to dental assisting educators and educational programs throughout the State.
By the start of 2016, FADE helped to start other supportive entities to include the FADE Institute and the FADE Teachers Coalition as well as collaborations with ROP and CTE schools, Federally Qualified Health Clinics such as La Clinica de la Raza, California Rural Indian Health, tribal health clinics on native american reservations and hispanic women’s support groups specific to introducing dental assisting as a pathway to independence for women and their families.
The start of 2024 brought new initiatives and ultimately the Klein family recognized the need to expand, restructure, and refocus on building individualized learning and advanced skill programs and certifications taught by dental educators and clinically experienced faculty. Each course and program is offered in an affordable and pro-active manner with the Foundation as the principle provider.
