Our specialty course is for licensed dental assistants who are struggling with the fabrication of provisional indirect restorations (temp crowns/bridges). The secrets to success in fabrication are based on several factors which we will focus on during this hands-on workshop.
The course objectives are:
- Identification of the types of indirect provisionals and the materials needed for successful manipulation
- Identifying the importance of a quality impression and its impact on the fabrication of a provisional
- Knowledge of the importance of trimming and finishing
- Identify the techniques needed to establish proper occlusion, contact and functionality while maintaining esthetics
Licensed participants will receive four (4) units of CE for attending the course. This course is only available to those licensed as a Registered Dental Assistant or RDAEF. Participants are required to bring to class a copy of their state board license.
